  • Over weight causes snoring and especially body fat around neck causes snoring. Lose weight to prevent snoring. You have to take healthy diet and follow exercise routine to control your weight. You can practice yoga or perform aerobic exercises to lose your weight and prevent snoring.
  • Substances that stimulate relaxation can also trigger snoring. Avoid alcohol or sleeping pills as they will cause your muscles to relax and obstructing the airway.
  • Avoid high stimulant foods such as chocolates, pizzas, burgers, and fried foods.
  • Reduce stress as it has major impacts on our body and body functions. Manage stress and improve your way of living which will have positive effect and it can prevent snoring.
  • Stop smoking as it damages your respiratory system and causes snoring.
  • Elevate your head by elevating the bed or increasing the height of the pillow. It reduces the pressure of the airway and makes easier to breathe.
